As the newest member of the SkyStone team, Melanie brings curiosity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for learning.  After obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, Melanie worked with a national accounting firm, gaining experience in public company audits in the mining, airline and technology sectors. As she joins SkyStone and continues working through the CPA program, her large company experience gives her a unique accounting perspective.

Melanie grew up in St. Paul, Alberta, and spent much of her childhood at her grandparent’s locally renowned carrot farm. Her small-town roots and her background in agriculture make her a natural fit at Skystone! In her spare time, Melanie loves to sing while playing the piano or guitar.  She is an avid reader and enjoys exploring new hobbies including sewing, baking, music, and many more. A true extrovert, Melanie loves meeting new people and is always happy to strike up a conversation.
